The United States men's basketball team defeated Serbia 110-84 on Saturday to win its seventh straight Olympic gold medal. Kevin Durant led the way for Team USA with 29 points, while Jayson Tatum added 27 points and Bam Adebayo had 24 points. Nikola Jokic led Serbia with 29 points, while Bogdan Bogdanovic added 25 points. Serbia stayed close early, but Team USA took control of the game in the second half. The United States led by just five points at halftime, but they outscored Serbia 33-19 in the third quarter to take a 14-point lead. Serbia cut the lead to single digits in the fourth quarter, but Team USA was able to hold on for the victory. The win gives Team USA its seventh straight Olympic gold medal in men's basketball. The United States has now won 16 gold medals in men's basketball, more than any other country.

In a post-game interview, Durant said, "It's an honor to represent my country and to win a gold medal. This team is special, and I'm so proud of what we've accomplished."

Tatum added, "This is a dream come true. I've always wanted to win an Olympic gold medal, and now I've finally done it. This is an incredible feeling."

Team USA's victory was a fitting end to a dominant run in international basketball. The United States has now won 16 of the last 19 Olympic gold medals in men's basketball.
