Outlook
The New Orleans Pelicans enter the 2023-24 season with a talented roster led by Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. With the addition of CJ McCollum and Devonte' Graham, the Pelicans have a strong backcourt that can score and distribute the ball. Williamson, who missed most of last season with injury, is expected to return to full strength and be a force on both ends of the floor. Ingram is a rising star who averaged 22.7 points per game last season. The Pelicans also have a solid group of role players, including Herbert Jones, Trey Murphy III, and Larry Nance Jr. Jones is a defensive standout who can guard multiple positions.
