Missing California teen found safe
15-year-old Alison Chao was last seen on August 16 in Monterey Park
Alison Jillian Chao was last seen on August 16 in the 200 block of North Ynez Avenue in Monterey Park, California. She was riding a blue mountain bike and wearing a black and white striped shirt, black leggings, and black and white Vans shoes. Chao is 5'2" tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Chao's family reported her missing on August 17 after she failed to return home from a bike ride. Police searched the area where she was last seen, but they were unable to find her. Chao's family and friends have been searching for her ever since.
On August 23, Chao was found safe in El Sereno, California. She was reunited with her family and is now receiving medical attention.
