Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Buff Away the Top Surface

Start by gently buffing away the top surface of the shellac polish. You don't need to press too hard, but make sure you remove the shiny layer. This will help the acetone penetrate the polish more easily.

Step 2: Apply Acetone Nail Polish Remover

Soak a cotton ball or pad in acetone-based nail polish remover. Place the cotton ball on your nail and wrap it around your fingertip. Secure the cotton ball with an orange stick or cuticle pusher.

Step 3: Wait 5-10 Minutes

Let the acetone sit on your nail for 5-10 minutes. This will give the acetone time to break down the shellac polish.

Step 4: Remove the Shellac Polish
