The Boston Bruins took a 1-0 lead in their first-round playoff series against the Toronto Maple Leafs with a 5-2 win in Game 1 on Tuesday night at Scotiabank Arena. But the Bruins are not getting ahead of themselves, knowing that there is still a lot of hockey to be played.

"It's just one game," said Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron. "We're not going to get too high on ourselves. We know that the Maple Leafs are a good team, and they're going to come back hard in Game 2."

The Bruins got goals from five different players in Game 1, including two from Brad Marchand. David Pastrnak, Jake DeBrusk, and Charlie McAvoy also scored for Boston.

"It was a good win for us," said Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy. "We got contributions from all over the lineup. But we know that the Maple Leafs are going to be a tough opponent, and we're going to have to be ready for Game 2."

The Maple Leafs will host the Bruins in Game 2 on Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena.
